Don’t forgot to head into Grill'd Waurn Ponds for a delicious, healthy burger and support Medimime at the same time. It’s good for your belly and hopefully our bank account.

Medimime's Local Matters runs for the full month of May.

Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser

It has been a couple of weekends since our Bunnings Warehouse Australia BBQ Fundraiser and, unfortunately, the delicious smells of cooked snags and onions are now gone.

A huge shoutout to the Medimime community for such a massive response to our call out for donations and volunteers. We were overwhelmed with the response and would never have achieved such a wonderful result without you.

To the Bunnings shoppers, thank you for the support and for helping us raise over $2,700 for Barwon Health. Such a great result for our local health services.

Opening Night for The Little Mermaid

Tonight would have been the opening night of our 2020 production and even though we cancelled our season early in the pandemic, our preparation started long before that.

Each year we work with the Graphic Design students at The Gordon to produce our artwork, we give them a simple brief and let their creativity and imagination do the rest.

Here are the submissions from the class of 2020. Which one is your favourite?

Don’t forgot you can still help raise money for Barwon Health by heading to and making a donation.

September is #ShakaUpForMentalHealth month, so for the month of September we will be checking in on our Medimime community, both online and offline, and sending them a Shaka!

1 in 5 Australians aged between 16-85 will experience a mental illness in any year, so we just wanted to remind everyone to take a moment this week to check in on your mates

Become a Member

With Medimime being unable to stage our annual pantomime this year, we are coming up with different ways to raise money for Barwon Health and the vital services they provide our community.

Over the last few years, we've raised on average of $30k from our annual productions. This comes down to the generous support from our members (cast and crew), amazing sponsors and much loved audiences.

This year our goal is to raise $10k (at least.)

So, to kick off our fundraising efforts, for $30.00, the price of a standard Medimime ticket, you will become a Medimime member for 2020/21 and receive the limited edition member tee (pictured).

To become a member and order your tee, simply head to our 'Members & Merch' page on our website and complete the form.

Annual General Meeting 2020

Thank you to everyone who attended our virtual Annual General Meeting tonight.

We are thrilled to be making a donation of $30,698.06 to the Acute Neurosciences Unit - Heath Wing 2 at Barwon Health this year, our profits from our 2019 production of Rapunzel: A Tangled Panto.

The Medimime Committee would also like to thank our outgoing committee members, Leonie Joynson, Erin Bloye, Seamus Kennedy and Jenna Irvin, thank you for your invaluable contribution to our organisation.

COVID-19 Announcement

With the most recent announcements from the Federal and State Governments regarding the roadmap to a COVIDSafe Australia and the staged approached to easing restrictions, Medimime now have a clearer view of our immediate future and what is achievable.

Medimime has made the difficult but essential decision to cancel our 2020 production of The Little Mermaid, which was due to be staged at the Geelong Arts Centre in September. Unfortunately, with the ongoing restrictions on gatherings and the continuation of social distancing, our ability to audition and rehearse our production in time to take to the stage in September has been limited.
